Thank to the
March 2003 Computer Shopper magazine for this information on easy access
to the Favorites URLs for Internet Explorer.
Right-click on an empty space on the Desktop, and choose New >
Shortcut. Click on the Browse button to find the Favorites folder
(probably in the Documents and Settings folder on the C drive). Choose
Next, name the shortcut (such as Favorites), click on Finish, and you'll
have a new folder on the Desktop that contains the Favorites listing in a
Windows Explorer window.
You can double-click on any Favorite, and it will automatically load in
Internet Explorer. You can now create folders, and move Favorites entries
among folders. This is much easier than using Internet Explorer to
organize the Favorites entries.
