Limassol-Cyprus

Limassol, Cyprus. While we were sailing to the port, there was a heavy overcast, with some rain and occasional lightning. It was too windy/uncomfortable for me to walk on the deck, with the water spray, from ocean waves, being blown onto the deck. As we approached the port bay, the ship's ballast needed to be transferred because of the wind against the side of the ship. We also needed to wait for two tugs that were getting a drifting boat back to its pier. We took a tour to the old town and two castles. Thankfully there was no rain while we were on our tour. Unfortunately the most recent time that Turkey invaded Cyprus, they took control of 37% of the land in Cyprus.
Tomorrow we will be in Cairo, Egypt, to see pyramids and a museum. Out tour leaves at 7am so we will have breakfast at 6am. We won't return to the ship until about 7pm.
